Originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan, Rebecca traded in snow boots for year-round running shoes. She is committed to public higher education and working on institutions’ financial challenges while fulfilling a commitment to their mission. She feels fortunate to be working at UCLA as part of a campus community that is dedicated to its students, faculty and staff. Rebecca has previously worked with Indiana University, where she also earned a PhD. She earned a Bachelor's and Master's from University of Michigan and remains a Michigan football fan.

Ellen Hermann has served as a Senior Strategic Planning Analyst with UCLA’s Office of Academic Planning and Budget since 2016. She has worked in non-profit strategic planning for the past several years, and served as a financial consultant prior to that. Ellen earned her MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and her bachelor’s degree from UC Berkeley.

Ty joins UCLA with Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis, Corporate Business Planning, and project management experience in healthcare, engineering consulting, and community development financial services. Prior to joining UCLA, Ty held senior analyst roles, supporting Corporate Finance and Project Management Office (PMO), for NorthBay Healthcare, CBRE, and MWH Global now Stantec. Ty holds a BS from the University of La Verne.
