Jeff was appointed as the Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Planning and Budget in January 2016. Prior to joining UCLA, Jeff served in a variety of leadership roles in different educational and nonprofit institutions. He worked at Stevens Institute of Technology, Teachers College at Columbia University, and New York Institute of Technology. After his time working in higher education, Jeff served 15 years at the New York Public Library, taking on roles including the VP for Budget, VP for Strategic Planning, and most recently the VP for Finance.
Jeff earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and master’s from the Rutgers Graduate School of Management.

Suzanne began working at UCLA for the Office of The Vice Chancellor for Research in 2007. She then joined Academic Planning & Budget in 2013 and currently serves as Deputy to the Associate Vice Chancellor. Prior to joining UCLA, her career encompassed the legal profession and corporate finance. She fully supports UCLA in developing strategic initiatives that strengthen both the campus and community and is a strong advocate for quality public education. Suzanne is a proud alum of UCLA earning her BA in History, with a specialization in African Studies.
